Dr. Cate Bearsley-Smith
Dr. Cate Bearsley-Smith is a clinical psychologist who works with clients of all ages who are having difficulties with their mental health.
Cate has a Doctorate in Clinical Child, Adolescent and Family Psychology, First Class Honours in Psychology, and Bachelors of Science and Arts. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Leigh-Anne McKinley is clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults with low risk seeking short term or periodic treatment. Leigh-Anne's primary client type is short term therapy with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy(CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety and depression; Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprograming (EMDR) for trauma and PTSD; Exposure therapy and Psycho-Ed for phobias and OCD; and CBT/ACT for psycho-education for situational crisis. PLEASE NOTE FEES FOR CONSULTATIONS ARE INCREASING FROM 1 January 2021 for Leigh-Anne McKinley's appointments.
From January 1st 2021 the fee for a 50-minute appointment via telehealth, phone or in person with Leigh-Anne McKinley will be $200, appointments after hours (after 5pm weekdays or Saturdays) will be $220. Fees are payable at the end of the session. If you have a current mental health care plan you can claim a rebate from Medicare of $128.40.
Appointments with Leigh-Anne McKinley are only available during Victorian school terms, for 40 weeks in a calendar year. Please consider if this limitation renders West Gippsland Psychology unsuitable to your needs.
To cancel or postpone an appointment with Leigh-Anne McKinley, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Failure to do so will incur an $80 cancellation fee.
